All of our lunches come individually packed for simple and clean delivery. 

The Incredible Lunch Ladies program is simple! You choose which day(s) of the week your child wants lunch – two alternating choices per weekday – and pay for the entire semester up front. Everything will be pre-ordered for the semester. You will order for the entire term, two alternating options (aka week A, week B) on each weekday. Scroll to the bottom of this page to see the names and addresses of the restaurants who will be delivering the food. Please visit them and try the food as a family or call them about any allergy concerns.

Speaking of Trial Weeks… 
At the beginning of each semester there will be a Trial Week where your kids can test the food to see if they like it – before committing to the semester. Please note: the Trial Week is not included in the semester. If you don’t want to have to pack a lunch EVER, make sure to order BOTH the Trial Week AND the Semester.

Order any combination of days
You can choose one, two, three, four, or five days per week. Two alternating choices (aka week A, week B) per day!

May I just order Week A (or Week B)?
No, you must order for the entire semester. With vacations and trial weeks and other arbitrary factors, it’s too difficult to keep track of which week is which and we don’t want any kids going hungry. This program works with the given prices because the restaurants are guaranteed the same number of orders each week.

How long is each semester? 
The first semester will go from September through the end of January (roughly 17 weeks, depending on which day of the week it is.)
The second semester will go from February through June (roughly 16 weeks.)

Bring your own drink
The Incredible Lunch Ladies and the school staff want to encourage the use refillable water bottles and reduce the amount of plastic and cans, so no drink is included. There are numerous water stations and drinking fountains all over the school. 

Bring your own fork
The Incredible Lunch Ladies and the school staff want to eradicate all single-use plastic at the school and reduce the amount of waste, so please, pack a fork or chopsticks. The Incredible Lunch Ladies has provided a cutlery kit to every student on campus, regardless of participation in the lunch program or not. Incoming 6th Graders will receive their cutlery during orientation!

Is a snack provided?
The Incredible Lunch Ladies provides bananas, oranges, apples and other seasonal fruits as healthy snacks to ALL STUDENTS, whether or not they participate in the lunch program. Cookies and other treats we encourage parents to toss in your child’s backpack, if you desire. Please note that the portion sizes of these lunches are very generous.

What if my child has an allergy?
Please contact the restaurant directly to ask any allergy related questions. All of their addresses and phone numbers are provided below.

How is the food going to stay hot/cold? 
The food is delivered just before lunch, so it will be hot. The Incredible Lunch Ladies also have provided insulated boxes and warming blankets to keep things hot!

What about emergency lunches?
Contact the school for emergencies. This program is not available for emergency lunches.

What if I am absent/sick/on a field trip that day?
You have several options: come to the school and pick up the lunch that afternoon by 1pm , designate a friend to receive the lunch (MUST CALL SCHOOL DIRECTLY AT 818-900-1895 by 10am), or donate it to the staff. All requests for siblings or students to receive a lunch in lieu of you must be given 48 hours in advance, by email, to: [email protected], otherwise, please contact the school directly to make that change at 818-900-1895. Please note: Field trips are not known in advance, therefore semester pricing does take this into account and assumes an average of one per grade each semester. Obviously, it may not fall on the day you order for your child, but overall it averages out!

Lunches cannot be saved beyond 1pm, due to California Food & Drug Safety policies. If your child fails to retrieve their lunch by 1pm it will be given to staff.

What if halfway through the semester we want to cancel?
There are no refunds. Due to the intense organization and paperwork, plus the excellent pricing given us by the restaurants because of the guaranteed orders each week, you are locked in for the semester.

May we change our option during the semester to a different choice on the same day?
Not really. However, if your student suddenly develops a profound distaste for cheese pizza (or whatever), please contact us to discuss. Changes are a lot of work, so please bear this in mind. All changes will be restricted to the same purchased day of the week. (In other words, choose a different pizza.) If there is a considerable price difference (over $10) you will be charged/refunded.

Is the school benefiting monetarily?
Yes, indeed! The Incredible Lunch Ladies donates part of its profits back to the school, directly benefiting the students. Over the years, we have funded the ASB, the Endowment Fund, all of the dances, a family in need, guest speakers, food for the prom, and popsicles on Beach Day at the end of the year.
